Plenty of baby boomers are transforming the extra bedrooms in their Irvine homes. The primary occupants of these rooms are aging parents or kids in their 20s coming home after college. Creating a room for an older adult is not the same as decorating for children.
In the case of an aging parent, a separate sense of space and seclusion should be created. You must also think about space for medical devices in the bedroom or bathroom.
